The Miners Standard

A group of us went to the Italian evening. It was excellent. The starters were good and the lasagne was very tasty. One little quibble was that the lasagne was served on a cold plate as there was salad with it. Serve the salad in a separate bowl! The tiramisu was lovely lots of boozy flavour with coffee and chocolaty goodness.James and his guitar were fine entertainment and some dancing about was done.
